CCF Receives 3-Year CARF Accreditation!

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF) is an international independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the services you use meet your needs for quality and the best possible outcomes. CARF reviews and grants accreditation services nationally and internationally on request of a facility or program. Their standards are rigorous, so those services that meet them are among the best available.

In January, 2005, CARF auditors spent three days reviewing CCF's programs, policies, and procedures and inspecting all our facilities. On February 25, we received official word that CCF met CARF's rigorous standards and that we have been awarded a 3-year CARF accreditation. CARF's report included the following comments:

  • CCF has dedicated staff members with long-term employment with the organization. Staff members exhibited professionalism, interest, and genuine caring for persons served.
  • The organization's programs and services serve the clientele in creative and innovative ways to ensure that persons' needs are met and exceeded.
  • The organization has a very good reputation in the community and among other organizations and resources.
  • Family members and persons served convey a high level of satisfaction with the services provided by CCF.
  • The board of directors, management, and staff members are commended for their demonstration of commitment to the persons served and the quality of their services.

CCF will continue to strive to meet and exceed CARF's standards and to provide the highest quality care possible.
