The evening of May 17th was picture perfect, and CCF's 3rd Annual Step Up to the Plate couldn't have gone any better! Guests at the Great American Ballpark enjoyed touring the Cincinnati Reds Museum and Hall of Fame, taking batting practice, dinner in the Diamond Club, silent auction, the entertainment of acoustical guitarist Ben Alexander, and meeting our special guest, Joe Nuxhall.
Our thanks to everone who planned for, participated in, attended, or made donations, and especially to our Presenting Sponsor - Federated Department Stores, Inc.! Thanks to Federated, our other sponsors (listed below), and everyone who purchased tickets, and/or donated or bought auction items, we were able to increase our net revenue 153% over the 2004 event! A big thanks, also, to the Colerain High School Key Club who volunteered to act as "ushers" for the event, making sure no one got lost!
MVP Awards (Most Valuable Partner) were presented to Pat Tribbe, President and CEO of the Hamilton County Mental Health Board, and to Sharon Gieringer, School Counselor at Harrison Elementary School. Congratulations to both!
A big THANK YOU, from everyone at CCF and the children and families we help, goes to the following sponsors: Acordia Insurance, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Federated Department Stores, Inc., Fifth Third Bank, Fort Washington Investment, GBBN Architects, Messer Construction Co., Michael Schuster & Associations (MSA), and to everyone who helped to make this event so successful. |
